HyperLiquid perpetual futures — open/close positions, set leverage, place market and limit orders with TP/SL, and manage open orders.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # GDEX: Perpetual Futures Trading (HyperLiquid)
Trade perpetual futures on HyperLiquid through GDEX managed-custody. Supports long/short positions, configurable leverage, take-profit/stop-loss, and market/limit orders.
## When to Use
- Opening or closing perp positions
- Setting leverage for an asset
- Placing HL orders (market/limit) with TP/SL
- Querying positions, mark prices, or account state
- Canceling orders
## Prerequisites
- `@gemachdao/gdex-skill` installed
- Authenticated via `loginWithApiKey()` — see **gdex-authentication**
- USDC deposited to HyperLiquid — see **gdex-perp-funding**
## Open a Position (managed custody)
Perp orders go through `hlCreateOrder` after a managed sign-in. There is **no**
`openPerpPosition`/`setPerpLeverage` — those don't exist (closing has
`closePerpPosition`, below). The real flow:

How to install
mdr add gemachdao/gdex-skill/gdex-perp-trading@sha256:cb4e2fd211e038e5The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.6b44a34, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
