Environment check: read-only health inspection of the local dev environment — toolchain presence/version/shadowing, PATH and proxy env vars, disk space and inodes, dev-port occupancy (--ports), dependency-tree integrity (node_modules, broken venvs), and WSL2/Windows interop (PATH injection, autocrlf, wsl.conf). Produces a structured report with fix commands; never executes fixes itself. Use when builds fail with "works on my machine" symptoms, commands resolve to wrong binaries, a proxy blocks…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
