Use when you say `set up context hub`, `check my plugin prerequisites`, or `troubleshoot MCP connectivity`. Do NOT use to actually gather context for a task (use context-gather), and do NOT use to search memory (use memory-search).

# Context Hub Setup

Check the plugins the context skills depend on, and report what is missing.

Migrated from `.claude/commands/context-hub-setup.md` under ADR-064, which makes
skills the single user-invocable surface.

## Triggers

## Prerequisites

Context Hub requires these plugins to be installed:

1. **Serena** - Symbol-level code analysis and the `.serena/memories/` store (required for `using-serena-symbols` and the memory skills)
2. **Context7** - Framework documentation (recommended for `/context-gather`)

## Process

### Step 1: Check Plugin Prerequisites

First, check if the required plugins are installed:

Look for:

- `serena` or similar (for code analysis)
- `context7` or similar (for framework docs)

**If Serena is not installed:**

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint

mdr add rjmurillo/ai-agents/context-hub-setup@sha256:bc7267aa6aaff0ef

The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
