archlang SKILL.md skillA
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
archlang from chanmeng666/archlang is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.

Use when the user wants to create, edit, or inspect an architectural floor plan / building layout as code — e.g. "draw a 2-bedroom apartment", "add a bathroom to this plan", "make the bedroom 1 m wider", "lay out an office floor". ArchLang is a tiny text language that compiles a .arch file to a professional floor-plan drawing (SVG/PNG/PDF/DXF). Drive it entirely through the `archlang` CLI; do not hand-render.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# ArchLang — author floor plans as code ArchLang turns a small `.arch` text file into a professional floor-plan drawing. It is built for agents: deterministic, self-correcting (errors carry a machine code, a prose `fix`, and often a **machine-applicable** fix `archlang fix` can apply), and verifiable without ever looking at an image (`archlang describe`). ## Setup (zero-install) The CLI runs straight from npm — no clone, no build: ```bash npx -y @chanmeng666/archlang --help ``` Or `npm i -g @chanmeng666/archlang` for a global `archlang` command. Every call below is written `archlang <cmd>`; without the global install, write `npx -y @chanmeng666/archlang <cmd>`. Never run a bare `arch`: the package installs it as an alias, but on Linux, macOS and Git Bash coreutils owns that name, so the shell runs the wrong program. ## The loop (always follow this) 1. **Learn the language first.** Run `archlang spec` and read it — the entire language in one page. (`archlang context` prints *everything*: spec + this workflow + CLI reference + error catalog.) Do this before writing any `.arch`. …

How to install
mdr add chanmeng666/archlang/archlang@sha256:b06ca1e457771fa9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261024.126686c, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
