Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # house-style

Every project has its own written rules and its own habits. A contribution that follows both gets reviewed faster and merged more often. This skill learns both from the repository itself, then drafts the commit and PR to match.

Nothing here pushes, opens, or comments on anything. You prepare the draft. The user decides whether it goes out.

## 1. Read the written rules

Look in the repo root, `.github/`, and `docs/` for:

- `CONTRIBUTING.md`, PR templates (`pull_request_template.md`, or the `PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE/` folder), and issue templates
- `SECURITY.md`. If the change fixes a vulnerability, stop and tell the user. Security fixes usually go through private disclosure, not a public PR.
- `CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md`, and the CLA or DCO requirements (a `Signed-off-by` trailer, a CLA bot)
- any policy on AI-assisted contributions. Search those files and the README for "AI", "LLM", "generated", "Copilot", "Claude", "ChatGPT".

Note every requirement: tests, docs, changelog entries, commit convention, branch naming, one change per PR, squashing.

How to install

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261014.88702ee, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
