Manage Apple Calendar events on macOS with apple-calendar-cli. Use when listing calendars, finding or scheduling events, rescheduling meetings, or managing recurrence and alerts.

# Apple Calendar Use `apple-calendar-cli` to work with the local Apple Calendar store through EventKit on macOS 14 or later. Use `--json` on calendar commands and inspect identifiers from their output rather than guessing an event or calendar ID. ## Setup and discovery Check `apple-calendar-cli --version` and `apple-calendar-cli help`. For options not covered here, run `apple-calendar-cli help <command>`; the installed executable is authoritative. If the CLI is missing, install it with `brew install sichengchen/tap/apple-calendar-cli` when the user requests installation. `apple-calendar-cli init` installs or updates this bundled skill for selected agents; it does not request Calendar access. In scripts, choose agents explicitly, for example `apple-calendar-cli init --agent codex --agent claude --agent pi`. Use `--scope project` for project skills and `--dry-run --json` to preview changes. …

How to install
mdr add sichengchen/apple-calendar-cli/apple-calendar-cli@sha256:f43ddb17a154dbd6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.74aa15b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
