# SMSF annual workpaper preparation ## Inputs Trust deed and trustee records, prior accounts/return/audit findings, investment and bank records, valuations, contributions and benefit payments, member balances, pension documents, investment strategy and actuarial evidence where relevant. ## Workflow 1. Reconcile investments, cash and liabilities to external evidence and trace changes to member accounts. 2. Classify contributions, rollovers, benefits and pensions using source documents and current authority. Reconcile each member's contributions across all funds using receipt dates, including employer and salary-sacrifice amounts. Check concessional carry-forward eligibility against the preceding 30 June total super balance and the available unused amounts for each eligible prior year. Review non-concessional bring-forward separately, including any earlier trigger and remaining period. Verify the period's rules and caps before using either concession. Missing other-fund records, notices or pension evidence prevents assumed treatment. …
