Makes finished motion-graphics VIDEOS (mp4 with music and sound) from a prompt, rendered from code in a browser: 65 templates, single effects (a neon sign switching on, glitch and datamosh transitions, rolling numbers, karaoke wipes) and the engines behind them. Neon signs, glitch titles and posters, pixel art, karaoke and lyric videos, paper cut-outs and pop-ups, fluid (ink in water, marbling, light in water, milk pouring), light particles, liquid glass, kinetic typography, bar chart races…

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

What the file says

# ultramotion

A finished video from a prompt: the picture is a web page drawn as a pure function of time, `render.py` turns it into an mp4, and `sound.py` writes the music and the sounds. Below, `$SKILL` is this folder (where this file is).

- `effects/` — single effects, one shot each (a neon sign switching on, a datamosh cut, a rolling number, a karaoke wipe): a short page per effect, indexed in `effects/README.md` by engine.
- `templates/` — 65 templates, each a folder with `TEMPLATE.md` and the pages to start from. The index is `templates/README.md`, grouped by what people make (signs and posters, lyrics and music, data and news, titles and intros, product and brand, art in motion, greetings, explainers).
- `lib/<engine>/` — the engines the templates are built on, each with a `GUIDE.md`: what it does, how things move in it, its API, its sound, and what to check.
- `render.py` — page → mp4, contact sheets, sound only, loop seams, footage frames. The usage is at the top of the file.
- `sound.py` — sampled instruments, ready arrangements and the sounds of the picture; the full list is at the top of the file.

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint
mdr add sunsiyuan/ultramotion/ultramotion@sha256:05e3afa86a3b5cb0

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261020.2fefc23, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
