Create, edit, inspect, verify, or rerender professional offline diagrams. Use for architecture, process, sequence, data, state, or relationship visuals from intent or source.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # OpenPlanr Diagram Use the public `openplanr diagram` surface for deterministic validation, rendering, fidelity reporting, and source custody. Do not reproduce renderer or manifest logic in the prompt. Treat a successful `openplanr diagram gallery --json` call as proof that the runtime is ready. Never locate or import `planr-pipeline`, inspect `node_modules`, search the filesystem for schemas or examples, or call internal runtime modules. The CLI and this skill's bundled references are the complete supported boundary. ## Create from intent When the input is an English description, read the [intent-to-IR guide](references/diagram-intent-to-ir.md) and the [diagram document contract](references/diagram-document.md). Choose the grammar and detail tier from the available project context. Use `openplanr diagram gallery --type <type> --json` only when grammar metadata is needed. Ask only when an unresolved choice would materially change the meaning; ask no more than three short decision-changing questions at once and prefer the host's native question UI. How to install
mdr add openplanr/openplanr/planr-diagram@sha256:0ab3025c07936d55The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.d4f1cc8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
