# IMA Notes API base path: `openapi/note/v1`. Use notes APIs when the user's real target is a note: search notes, list notebooks, list notes, read note content, create a new note, or append to an existing note. Do not use shell commands or environment inspection for credentials. Call the native `ima_openapi` tool (deferred by default: if it is not in your tool list, activate it with `tool_search` first); credentials are never tool arguments. ## Operations - Search notes by title: `search_note` - Search notes by content: `search_note` with `search_type: 1` - List notebooks: `list_notebook` - List notes: `list_note` - Read note content: `get_doc_content` - Create note: `import_doc` - Append to existing note: `append_doc` ## Write Rules - If the user says "create/new note", use `import_doc`. - If the user says "append/add to existing note", use `append_doc` only after the target note is clear. - For vague requests like "record this" or "save to notes", ask whether to create a new note or append to an existing note. - `append_doc` is irreversible in normal user flow. How to install
mdr add pinvou/pinvou-agent/notes@sha256:52f19c2be4246338The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260920.6c95405, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
