Vision feedback loop for UI — render the running UI, screenshot it across viewports + dark mode, run deterministic gates then a multimodal critique against the design system, and iterate until it passes. Use after building or changing a UI component/page, when asked to 'check the UI', make it 'look right', or verify a build matches a design spec / Stitch screen.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Design Vision Loop
Open-loop text guidance is why "correct" UI still looks off — nobody looked at it. This skill adds the
eyes: **render → screenshot → critique → iterate**, the pattern Anthropic endorses for UI agents
(*Building agents with the Claude Agent SDK*: "visual feedback… can be helpful"; computer-use docs:
"after each step, take a screenshot and carefully evaluate… only when you confirm a step was executed
correctly should you move on").
## Precondition
The UI must be renderable: a running dev server URL/route, or a static HTML artifact. If nothing renders
(component with no harness), say so and either spin up a preview or fall back to static review — don't
pretend to have looked.
## The loop (max 3 iterations by default)

How to install
mdr add nguyenthienthanh/aura-frog/design-vision-loop@sha256:08d20c8d6b8bce4cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260728.fc5e06b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
