Use when someone asks where the team's work stands, "team status", "what is everyone working on", or asks to update the team's progress page. Reads each member's tasks and works out each task's status from git and the pull requests, then shows it, and writes the readable progress page only when asked.

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

What the file says

# team:status — where the team's work stands

Status is read, never stored. For each task, `team.sh status` looks at
the pull request for its branch, the pipeline's run state on this
machine, and the branch on this machine and on `origin`. The first that
answers wins:

How a run ended is the pipeline's own rule. An abandoned run is ended for
good: the pipeline refuses to work on it again under the same spec
folder. To do that task again, the team leader gives it a new `specDir`.

A closed pull request that was not merged is not done: the task is then
read from the other facts, and the row says the pull request was closed.

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.fa4e558, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
