Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Desktop Engineering Guide How to build ClawCodex Desktop well. This is a judgment guide, not an inventory — it teaches the invariants and the reasoning behind them so a change fits the app even as files move. Read it with the repository `AGENTS.md` (root rules still apply) and [`DESIGN.md`](./DESIGN.md) for the visual and interaction contract. When a rule here and the code disagree, trust the code and fix whichever is wrong — but never break an invariant to make a change easier. ## What this app is Desktop is its own native chat surface. It is not the browser dashboard and it does not embed the TUI. Three parties, each authoritative for one thing: - **Electron** owns the machine: process lifecycle, native filesystem/git/ windows, install/update, and a narrow, typed capability bridge. - **The renderer** owns the experience: navigation, presentation, and ephemeral interaction state. - **The agent backend** owns the work: sessions, tools, model calls, streaming. Keep the seams clean. The renderer never reaches for Node or Electron directly; native power arrives through a deliberate capability, not a general escape hatch. …

How to install
mdr add agentforce314/clawcodex/ui-desktop/AGENTS.md@sha256:7f9134113c760d83The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260808.b49711d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
