Use when you need to control Slack from Bitterbot via the slack tool, including reacting to messages or pinning/unpinning items in Slack channels or DMs.

# Slack Actions
## Overview
Use `slack` to react, manage pins, send/edit/delete messages, and fetch member info. The tool uses the bot token configured for Bitterbot.
## Inputs to collect
- `channelId` and `messageId` (Slack message timestamp, e.g. `1712023032.1234`).
- For reactions, an `emoji` (Unicode or `:name:`).
- For message sends, a `to` target (`channel:<id>` or `user:<id>`) and `content`.
Message context lines include `slack message id` and `channel` fields you can reuse directly.

How to install
mdr add bitterbot-ai/bitterbot-desktop/slack@sha256:75fea7e7987fec59The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260328.33f9833, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
