Catches shortcuts and reward hacking — weakening or deleting tests to make them pass, hard-coding expected outputs, silently dropping requirements, or claiming work is done without running it. Use before declaring a task complete and whenever a test or requirement feels like it's in the way.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# vibe-anti-rationalization-check Current models rarely skip work out of laziness. The failure that remains is subtler: satisfying the *check* instead of the *goal*. A test gets special-cased, an assertion loosened, a requirement quietly narrowed, and the summary says "done." This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
