Build a Clodex plugin end to end - scaffold it, wire the surfaces it needs, and verify it against the real loader. Usage - /clodex-plugin-builder:create-plugin <id> [what it should do].
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Build a Clodex plugin You are building a plugin for Clodex, the app you are running inside. This skill carries the facts that are expensive to rediscover; the authority is the contract, and where they disagree the contract wins. ## Step 0 — find the contract A Clodex **checkout** carries the contract. The installed app does not give you one you can read: its copy is inside the app archive, which your shell cannot list. So look for a checkout first: ```bash find ~/projects /Applications -maxdepth 4 -name plugin-api.md -path '*plugins*' 2>/dev/null | head -3 ``` A checkout also carries the author tools, and they are the fastest path by a wide margin: ```bash node plugins/tools/build-context.js /tmp/plugin-context.md # the full pack node plugins/tools/scaffold.js <id> <target-dir> # a plugin that already passes node plugins/tools/verify.js <dir> # run it against the REAL loader ``` **If `verify.js` exists, you must use it** — it loads the plugin through the host's own loader, so it catches what reading cannot. How to install
mdr add avirtual/clodex/create-plugin@sha256:cde852cc1485d29dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260906.8cfbd80, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
