Edit drafts into natural prose, inspect AI-sounding patterns, or review how a specified audience might respond passage by passage. Zero Slop runs inside the user's existing AI assistant with local tools that protect source details. Use for humanizing or de-slopping writing, polishing outward-facing prose, social drafts, final editorial checks, or an explicit simulated reader review. Preserve facts, voice and format; reader simulations are hypotheses, not human feedback.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Zero Slop ## Local tool routing In this plugin, run local checks through the declared `zero-slop-local` MCP server. The examples below name its tools. Supply the contents of the named drafts and packets using each tool's advertised input schema; never pass a file path or run these examples through a shell. Example flags describe the matching operation, not a command to execute. Save returned output only with the host's approved file tools when the user requests a file. Keep every editorial role and verification requirement below. A tool result does not replace contextual reading or independent review. Learning still needs affirmative consent, and activation needs separate consent. Use the `version` tool with `check_for_updates: true` for the optional metadata-only release check. Never call the remote editing tool automatically. If a local tool is unavailable, use the documented manual path and disclose which checks did not run. Do not delegate file conversion to other skills or execute shell commands, custom scripts, or conversion programs outside the declared MCP servers. How to install
mdr add manavmishra/zeroslop/zero-slop@sha256:17d3f289ecb4a74dThe line at the top of this page pins the label v2.12.26, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
