## Execution Environment All release operations go through this tool's `scripts/release.py`. Do not duplicate packaging logic or call platform publication commands directly. 1. Locate the directory containing **this** `SKILL.md`. In `ai-shifu/skills`, it is `tools/ai-shifu-skill-release/`, not the Git repository root. Use it as the working directory for the commands below. A standalone copy uses the same sibling layout. 2. Confirm that `scripts/release.py` and `channels/workbuddy/.codebuddy-plugin/plugin.json` exist there. Stop if the intended tool cannot be located. 3. Read `python3 scripts/release.py --help` if the implementation may have changed. Read [Publishing Environment](references/publishing.md) for runtime, publisher configuration, and authentication requirements. 4. Before packaging, check `git status --short` and `git log -1 --oneline` in the enclosing repository when present.
