Run a state review of the codebase: the counterpart to adversarial-review's change review. Use before building against an upcoming spec (make the change easy first), when lanes merged since the last review cross the repo's threshold, or when lanes or the orchestrator report the code fighting them.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Codebase review A review of what the codebase **is**, where [adversarial-review](../../run/adversarial-review/SKILL.md) reviews what a diff changes. It hunts **deepening opportunities**: places where structure taxes every change that passes through. It ends only when the decider has dispositioned every surviving candidate. This skill is the portable protocol: an entry gate, a read-only review lane of finders each named for the lens it looks through, a skeptic pass that kills candidates before the report exists, and the disposition loop. Everything repo-specific lives in **binding slots** the team-workflow setup interview fills: where reports land, the trigger threshold, where rejections are remembered, how the lane is run. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
