ddd SKILL.md skillA
ddd from fabiandistler/agents is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add fabiandistler/agents/ddd@v2.0Pins v2.0 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Applies Domain-Driven Design: subdomain classification, context mapping, legacy integration (ACL), tactical pattern choice, and conventions for aggregates, value objects, events, and event sourcing. Use for DDD design or review.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# DDD Strategic design decides *where* to invest; tactical design decides *how* to build. Match the investment to the value — over-engineering a Supporting subdomain and under-investing a Core one are both failures of the same discipline. ## When to use Whenever a design conversation touches subdomain classification, buy-vs-build for a capability, integration with a legacy or third-party system, bounded-context boundaries, or how much domain modeling a piece of business logic actually deserves — *and* whenever implementing domain logic, persisting aggregates, publishing events, or wiring cross-context integration — even if the user never says "DDD". Use the decision path below for the upfront design choice, the workflow for the design conversation, and the reference files as the code-review checklist while writing. ## Core principle A subdomain's strategic classification (Core / Generic / Supporting) should drive both *how much* engineering effort it gets and *which tactical pattern* implements it. Never let architectural enthusiasm outrun the subdomain's actual importance. ## Decision path …

How to install
mdr add fabiandistler/agents/ddd@sha256:0030548531d47a21The line at the top of this page pins the label v2.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
