Use when building a study-area location or setting map for a paper in R with ggplot2 + sf + terra — nested locator panels (country → province → site), shaded-relief DEM basemaps, land-use and other categorical rasters, classed continuous rasters, sampling sites with graduated symbols, one locator with several thematic panels, zoom leader lines, in-panel or strip legends, north arrows and scale bars. Also covers sourcing boundary and elevation data, including reading ArcGIS and MapGIS files.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # study-area-map Builds the frame of a study-area map: projection, window, basemap, thematic layers, panel composition and map furniture. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
