Audits a Figma design page read-only against figma-conventions.yaml before a handoff or right after another skill writes, grading each violation blocking or warning, which decides whether a section can be handed to engineering. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # fig:lint — read-only audit of structure, flow, components and colour tokens (violations only)
**Part of a plugin.** The scripts this skill runs ship beside it under `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}`. If that path does not resolve, this file was installed on its own — stop and say the plugin itself is needed (`claude plugin install fig@byjunyoung`), rather than improvising what the scripts do.
Takes one design page and **audits structure (placement), flow (arrows), component usage, and colours left off the design system's tokens in a single pass**, reporting only violations. Detection is separated from repair, the way a design lint should be — this skill **only detects**; fig:prep fixes structure, fig:arrows fixes flow, and fig:tokens binds colours to tokens.
**Why it exists**: to keep verification logic in **one place behind one gate**. Whatever touched the canvas — prep, arrows, a duplicated form, a manual edit — running this one skill at the end covers all of it. When verification is scattered across the working skills you get a blind spot shaped like "I wasn't using that skill this time, so the audit never ran." Removing that blind spot is the reason it is separate.

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
