# Browser use
Use `roami chrome` for browser work. The CLI catalog has one browser entry; open/observe/act handlers are internal. Read only the relevant reference using `read(path="skill://browser_use/references/FILE.md")`:

Main delegates browser work with the current routing schema. Bounded public lookups or screenshots use `target={kind:"new_session",resourceOnly:true}`; this skips coding-workspace preparation. All background profiles share enabled tools; interactions use the normal resource, observation and action checks. Local file work needs a prepared workspace or configured roots. Do not create a project for a lookup.

How to install
mdr add ybz21/roami/browser_use@sha256:9ae3e6a21d0959b8The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.339c2f8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
