Scans the codebase for dead code, tech debt, outdated dependencies, and code quality issues. Delegates to the Centinela (QA) agent.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Code Health
Runs a comprehensive code health scan using the Centinela (QA) agent.
## When to Use This Skill
- Periodic codebase hygiene check
- Before a release to ensure no dead code or unresolved debt
- After a large refactoring to verify cleanliness
- When onboarding to understand current code quality
## What This Skill Does
1. Runs the SIGN IN checklist
2. Scans for dead code (unused imports, variables, functions, commented-out blocks, unreachable code)
3. Checks for outdated and vulnerable dependencies
4. Detects code smells (long functions, deep nesting, duplication)
5. Audits TODO/FIXME comments for issue references
6. Runs the Scan Complete checklist (TIME OUT)
7. Writes findings to `docs/reviews/code-health-{date}.md`
8. Prepares findings handoff to Dev agent

How to install
mdr add davepoon/buildwithclaude/code-health@sha256:0572aa328df8db20The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260307.756e327, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
