Use when running any team-* skill (team-council, team-council-plan, team-kickoff, team-refactor, team-review) — dispatching its role agents, settling what they disagree on, or handing off at a CEO gate.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# team-protocol The rules every team-* skill shares. Each caller owns its roles, rounds and gate mapping; this skill owns how agents are dispatched, how their positions are counted, how a run hands off, and how approved work is executed and checked. When a caller and this skill disagree, the caller wins for its own flow. ## Dispatch - **One agent per role, dispatched in parallel.** Never play the roles yourself in one context (one context, one opinion in several costumes). - **Separation of context.** Every agent gets the minimum it needs; none receives the conversation, the raw transcripts or another agent's output unless its caller says so. The caller's table says what each one receives. - **Agents return async.** Send every agent of a round in one message. Each completion wakes you for a turn that re-reads the whole run: until the round's last agent is back, answer a notice in one line under 10 words — no tool call, no Read, no summary of the reply. Then read the replies once and take the next step. - **Pass the model and budget** from the caller's table to every dispatch. …

How to install
mdr add plasminds/team-skills/team-protocol@sha256:2585fa8b570c92ecThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261103.9fc52ec, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
