Use when building or reviewing a construction progress payment claim in NSW or Queensland: measured quantities, variations, materials, retention withheld, GST, the claim trigger date, and the statutory content a valid claim must carry.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Progress claim preparation Price a payment claim from measured work, or review one before it is served, and show the arithmetic tying back to the contract and the prior claims register. The output is a priced claim plus a diary of the respondent's response clocks, never a conclusion that the Act covers the contract. ## Inputs needed Ask for these if not provided: 1. Site jurisdiction and the executed construction contract: execution date, contract price or project value, payment terms, claim frequency, schedule of rates, retention clause, variation procedure, defects liability period 2. Position in the chain (principal, head contractor, subcontractor), who the party above is, whether subcontracts sit under this contract, and whether every subcontractor has been paid what is due 3. Description of what the crew physically performed, detailed enough to identify the work claimed 4. Measured quantities or progress records for the period, and the measurement basis (joint survey, superintendent's assessment, unilateral) 5. Prior claims register: claimed, scheduled or certified, and paid to date, plus any payment schedules received …

How to install
mdr add ryanduguid/australian-accounting-skills/progress-claim-preparation@sha256:ffd4afb78b698ad2The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260914.57d5e84, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
