Check that a pull request is approved and CI is passing, then merge it and clean up the branch.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Merge PR
Verifies that a pull request has the required approvals and passing CI checks, then merges it and cleans up the branch.
## Prerequisites
- Apply the shared SDLC conventions in `skills/sdlc/references/shared.md`.
- If no argument is provided, target the pull request from `$PR_NUMBER` (and `$REPO`).
- `gh` CLI authenticated with write access to the target repository
- PR number (`$1`) identifying an open pull request
- All review feedback addressed (run `/handle-pr-reviewer-feedback` first if comments are unresolved)

How to install
mdr add tomzx/agents/merge-pr@sha256:8d6588b82cae1bf0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.b35fc4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
