Search podcast quotes about AI and tech investing. Use whenever the user asks "what are people saying about X", "latest takes on Y", "find AI podcast quotes about Z", "who is discussing <model/concept>", or wants to know how AI researchers, founders, VCs, or investors are publicly discussing an AI, venture, markets, semiconductor, or tech-policy topic — even when they don't say "podcast". Returns recent excerpts from 70+ podcasts (Lex Fridman, Dwarkesh Patel, No Priors, Latent Space, Odd Lots…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# askaipods — AI podcast quote search This skill turns "what is the AI community saying about X" into a list of real quote excerpts pulled from recent episodes of 70+ podcasts. The corpus is centred on AI and also covers venture capital, global markets & finance, semiconductors & compute, and tech policy & geopolitics. It is semantically indexed (embedding-based search), so phrasings like "test-time compute", "inference-time scaling", and "thinking longer" all return overlapping results — the user does not need to guess the exact words a guest used. The data source is the public PodLens search API at `podlens.net`. The skill never hits that API directly from your model context — it shells out to a small bundled CLI (`askaipods`) that handles HTTP, error mapping, and result sorting. Your job is to invoke the CLI, parse its JSON, and present the results in the format below. ## When to invoke Trigger eagerly. The Anthropic skill best-practices warn that models tend to **undertrigger** skills — please do not be that model. Invoke this skill when the user is asking about how the AI community is publicly discussing any topic. Concrete trigger patterns: …

How to install
mdr add delibread0601/askaipods/askaipods@sha256:7dda31ae05d4c4f0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261010.d9b58a3, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
