Use when preparing Australian managed-fund or ETF annual-tax-statement, AMIT/AMMA attribution and unit cost-base adjustment workpapers.

# Managed fund and AMIT member workpapers ## Inputs Income year, holder entity and residency, fund and holding identifiers, annual tax or AMMA statements with revisions, cash distributions, reinvestment and transaction records, unit quantities and parcel dates, opening cost and reduced-cost-base balances, prior adjustments and disposal records. Obtain relevant foreign-tax and capital-loss schedules where calculations depend on them. ## Workflow 1. Identify each fund's reporting regime and the statement version for the year. Retain superseded statements for the reconciliation and use each corrected component only once. An ETF name or distribution receipt does not prove AMIT status. 2. Preserve each statement component: Australian income, franked distributions and franking credits, foreign income and tax offsets, capital-gain categories, tax-deferred or other non-assessable amounts and withholding. Reconcile component totals to the statement rather than forcing taxable attribution to match cash. …
