# Data Modeling

## Purpose

Represent domain facts, relationships, constraints, and lifecycle explicitly.

## Problem Statement

Without a shared decision model, data modeling is often driven by habit or defaults, producing inconsistent boundaries and hidden trade-offs.

## When to Use

Use when requirements, architecture, reviews, or change plans require decisions about data modeling, before implementation choices become expensive to reverse.

## When NOT to Use

Do not substitute it for product requirements, provider documentation, implementation instructions, or accountable Agent decisions.
