# Framer — Printing Press CLI
## Prerequisites: Install the CLI
This skill drives the `framer-pp-cli` binary. **You must verify the CLI is installed before invoking any command from this skill.** If it is missing, install it first:
1. Install via the Printing Press installer. It defaults binaries to `$HOME/.local/bin` on macOS/Linux and `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\bin` on Windows:

```
2. Verify: `framer-pp-cli --version`
3. Ensure the reported install directory is on `$PATH` for the agent/runtime that will invoke this skill.

How to install
mdr add mvanhorn/printing-press-library/pp-framer@sha256:17f89929f54e6f67The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260817.d5a007c, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
