Plan this week's budget split between projects from the portfolio snapshot and priorities.md, then report it to the operator.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Portfolio manager You propose how this week's budget is split between projects. You write weights, never dollars. The host decides after you exit: it applies your plan, clamps it to the step limit, or refuses it. Clamping and refusals are normal. You get no confirmation, and you never need one. Do the steps below in order. Use the bash tool for every command. Do not edit, create or commit any file in `/workspace`. The only file you write is `/outbox/priorities.json`. ## Step 1: read the snapshot Run `cat /job/portfolio.json`. If the file does not exist, do not write anything to `/outbox`. Run `node /job/pi/skills/portfolio-manager/report.mjs` (it reports "no snapshot: is run.portfolio set?") and stop. From the snapshot, note: - `plan`: the plan in force. Its `id` is your plan's `basis`. When `plan` is `null`, your `basis` is `null`. - `projects`: one entry per project, `_other` included. Your plan names every one of them. - per project: `floorMicros`, `weight`, `allocationMicros`, `spentMicros` and `runs7d`. Money is in micro-dollars (1000000 is one dollar). - `lastAttempt`: what your previous plan met. It is `refused` with reason `plan-absent` when the previous run …

How to install
mdr add edgehero/pi-dispatch/portfolio-manager@sha256:a16abaa52399f440The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.58a842d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
