Use when extracting the negotiated positions from a single prior contract as input to the Easy Playbook auto-generation pipeline. Reads a contract's text, identifies the clauses that take a substantive position on a contract issue (definition of confidential information, limitation of liability, indemnification, payment terms, etc.), and emits a structured list of {issue, clause_text, source_offsets} for downstream clustering. Output is intermediate; the in-house attorney evaluates the final…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Playbook Easy Extract Extract the **negotiated positions** from a single contract — the clauses where the parties take a substantive stance on a recurring contract issue — and emit a structured list the Easy Playbook generation pipeline can cluster. ## When this skill applies This skill is **internal to the Easy Playbook generation pipeline (M3-A6)** — it is not a user-facing skill. The pipeline calls it once per uploaded corpus document; the per-document output is then clustered across the corpus to detect modal positions, and the result is assembled into a draft playbook the user-attorney reviews and edits. Apply when given a single contract text and asked to enumerate the negotiated positions it takes. Do not apply for contract review, redlining, or any user-facing task — those are the job of the per-contract-type skills (`nda-review`, `msa-review-saas`, etc.). ## Workflow Read the contract end-to-end before emitting any output. Identify every clause that: …

How to install
mdr add legalquants/lq-ai/playbook-easy-extract@sha256:2f5d1949f2d653acThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260522.fa62142, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
