Expert guidance on ParadeDB text and vector search, hybrid search (BM25 + semantic), filters, facets, joins, and aggregations in Postgres. Use when writing ParadeDB queries, creating ParadeDB indexes, indexing vectors, configuring tokenizers, or implementing Elasticsearch-quality search in Postgres.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# ParadeDB Skill ParadeDB makes text and vector search, filters, facets, and joins fast in Postgres with the `pg_search` extension. Use this skill when users ask about: - ParadeDB indexes, BM25 scoring, and relevance ranking - Vector search and hybrid search (keyword + semantic, fused with reciprocal rank fusion) - Tokenizers, token filters, fuzzy matching, and phrase queries - Facets, aggregations, snippets/highlighting, joins, and query tuning For up-to-date ParadeDB documentation, always fetch the documentation index (`llms.txt`) using the bundled script at `scripts/paradedb-docs`. Resolve that path relative to the directory containing this `SKILL.md`, not relative to the current working directory or repo root. ```bash scripts/paradedb-docs llms.txt ``` Once you have the index, fetch only the pages relevant to the user's question. Pass the path after `/docs/` from an index URL, including the `.md` suffix. Common commands include: ```bash # Getting started and application integrations scripts/paradedb-docs start/configure-your-environment.md scripts/paradedb-docs reference/indexing/create-index.md scripts/paradedb-docs reference/indexing/columnar.md …

How to install
mdr add paradedb/agent-skills/paradedb-skill@sha256:887e23f90d58258bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.b099ebc, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
