deterministic-pr-gates from akshaypimprikar/pragma is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.

Run deterministic, scriptable pre-PR verification gates (build, full test suite, coverage threshold, branch naming, changelog presence, force-unwrap/duplication heuristics, and project-specific architecture/layer rules via grep) before a PR is opened or before a human reviewer looks at the diff. Use when a user asks whether a branch is ready for PR, wants a pre-PR checklist automated, wants CI-equivalent checks run locally and fast, or wants pre-merge verification that doesn't depend on an…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Deterministic Pre-PR Gates ## Why deterministic, not LLM-judged Most "quality gate" agent skills work by asking an LLM to read a diff and judge it: is this good code, does it follow our conventions, is anything missing. That's a real capability, but it's non-deterministic — the same diff can pass on one run and get flagged on the next, and a confident-sounding judgment is not the same as a verified fact. This skill does the opposite. Nearly every gate is a real command with a checkable outcome: an exit code, a grep match, a coverage percentage against a threshold. The two exceptions are Gate 7 (a security review, run by a dedicated skill or by hand when sensitive paths change) and Gate 8 (advisory: it surfaces abstraction and duplication candidates and a human decides). Everywhere else, if a gate passes, it passed because a build succeeded, a test suite went green, or a pattern genuinely didn't match — not because an LLM said it looked fine. …

How to install
mdr add akshaypimprikar/pragma/deterministic-pr-gates@sha256:ab98285cedd1b7aaThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260924.013d0bd, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
