Research a company and return a consistent dossier: executives + LinkedIn profiles, Glassdoor reviews, financial health, and latest news. Use when evaluating whether a role is worth pursuing.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Company Research Generate a consistent company dossier for job search decision-making. ## Trigger User says: "research [company]", "look into [company]", "what do you know about [company]", or agent identifies a company worth investigating. ## Dispatch Run the research as ONE Agent-tool subagent with `model: sonnet`. The subagent produces the dossier (structure below), saves it, writes `job-search/data/research-results.json`, and runs the merge script and dashboard regen (After Research steps 1–3). The parent session then reads the saved dossier, presents the summary, and offers the next step (After Research steps 4–6). Bulk web research does not need the session-default model; the dossier is structured extraction, not user-facing prose. …

How to install
mdr add muggl3mind/career-manager/company-research@sha256:90345ebe4f8655d4The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261001.a12d0f1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
