Code quality check: linting, complexity analysis, duplication detection, and dead code identification. Detects project linting config, runs appropriate tools, and creates a structured GitHub issue.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# DLC: Code Quality Check Run code quality analysis against the current project and create a GitHub issue with findings. Before running, **read [../dlc/references/ISSUE-TEMPLATE.md](../dlc/references/ISSUE-TEMPLATE.md) now** for the issue format, and **read [../dlc/references/REPORT-FORMAT.md](../dlc/references/REPORT-FORMAT.md) now** for the findings data structure. ## Step 1: Detect Linting Config Scan for linting configuration and project type: | Config File | Linter | Language | |-------------|--------|----------| | `.eslintrc*` / `eslint.config.*` / `biome.json` | ESLint / Biome | JS/TS | | `ruff.toml` / `pyproject.toml` (with `[tool.ruff]`) | Ruff | Python | | `.golangci.yml` / `.golangci.yaml` | golangci-lint | Go | | `clippy.toml` / `Cargo.toml` | Clippy | Rust | | `.rubocop.yml` | RuboCop | Ruby | Also check for formatter configs: `.prettierrc*`, `.editorconfig`, `rustfmt.toml`. ## Step 2: Run Quality Tools ### Linting Run the detected linter with JSON/machine-readable output: Select the tool based on availability (`command -v`), not exit codes — linters exit non-zero when issues are found, which is a valid result to capture. ```bash …

How to install
mdr add rube-de/cc-skills/quality@sha256:86c4acf0174c6ae8The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260818.efc7b35, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
