## Infrastructure changes are made on `main` first, then pulled into the PR branch
Anything that feeds the machinery collecting code-quality data and metadata around a
review — a guardrail test, a living diagram or its generator, a script under
`skills/human-review/scripts/`, `human-review.json`, a git hook, CI, CODEOWNERS, the
diagram/genseq pipeline — is changed **on `main` first**, pushed, and only then **merged
back** into the PR branch being worked on (`test-pr`, `hr-claude-N`, any of them). Never the
other way round, and never on the PR branch alone — including when the need shows up while
improving this page against one PR.
**Merged back, not only cherry-picked:** a cherry-pick lands *after* the review's base, so
the page reports the infra change as the PR's own (a guardrail test once showed up as
"APPROVAL REQUIRED @victorrentea/elders" on CODEOWNERS). What has to move is the base: merge
`origin/main` into the PR branch, then move the review's recorded base to the new merge base

How to install
mdr add victorrentea/human-review/CLAUDE.md@sha256:77c98232d820e1d3The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.60271d7, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
