Audit a content library for stale posts and topic gaps; ranks what to refresh or retire. "which posts need refreshing".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Content Library Audit
> **Script location.** If your host does not set `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}`, the scripts are in this plugin's `scripts/` folder, next to `skills/`. Run them with Python 3.10 or newer: `python`, or `python3` where `python` is not found (macOS, many Linux systems).
Audit your existing content library for freshness decay, coverage gaps, and optimization opportunities. The audit scores every piece for freshness, identifies content that needs refreshing, maps coverage gaps against keyword opportunities, and produces a prioritized action list with projected impact.
## When to Use
Use `/contentforge:cf-audit` when:
- You need a **quarterly or annual content health check** across your library
- Search rankings are declining and you need to **identify which content to refresh first**
- You want to find **coverage gaps** — topics your competitors rank for but you don't
- You need to **prioritize refresh candidates** for `/contentforge:content-refresh` based on data
- A new client wants an **audit before production** to avoid duplicating existing content
- You're planning next quarter's content calendar and need to **balance new vs refresh**

How to install
mdr add indranilbanerjee/contentforge/cf-audit@sha256:56818dca6b6d3734The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261011.2d33c75, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
