Search Argentine legal databases (SAIJ, JUBA, CSJN, JUSCABA) for jurisprudence, legislation, case summaries, and doctrine using the `ley` CLI. Use when the user asks about Argentine law, court decisions, legal precedents, fallos, jurisprudencia, legislación, or mentions SAIJ, JUBA, CSJN, JUSCABA. Supports parallel search across databases, JSON/table/text output, and filtering by jurisdiction. Built from reverse-engineered MCP servers (hernan-cc) — direct HTTP calls, no MCP layer needed.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# ley-ar — Argentine Legal Database Search
Search jurisprudence, legislation, and doctrine from 4 public Argentine legal databases.
## Installation

Requires Python 3.10+. Dependencies: typer, httpx, rich.
## Databases

**Default strategy:** Start with `--db saij,csjn`. Add `juba` only for PBA-specific queries. Use `juscaba` only with case IDs.

How to install
mdr add thomasmoreai/legal-skills-open/ley-ar@sha256:c6d9a4ebd7d01235The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
