Turn a short video that already worked into your own version. Paste the link and this viral video teardown and short-video remake workflow reads the reference itself on TikTok, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Instagram, YouTube, or X — caption, author, visible metrics, comments, and on YouTube the full transcript — or work from a file, screenshots, or your own description instead. It breaks the clip into its hook, body beats, and call to action, names the script pattern behind it, scores what carried the…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Viral Video Teardown Remake Take one short video that already performed, work out the structure underneath it, and rebuild that structure around the user's own subject — ending in shot frames, a narration track, and, depending on the chosen route, either one finished vertical clip or a segmented set of sources with captions and an edit list for the user's own cut. ## Scope and adjacent routes The route is: a reference clip, a teardown, a rewritten shot list, and a remade video. It fits when someone points at a specific video and wants their own version of it. When there is no reference to work from, another workflow fits better. An original idea with no benchmark belongs in a storyboard workflow. A product photo that should become a selling video belongs in a product-video workflow. A finished script that only needs a voice belongs in a voiceover workflow. Restyling the reference footage itself, rather than rebuilding it, belongs in a video-restyle workflow. ## Inputs and defaults Two hard inputs: the reference — and what the remake is about. …

How to install
mdr add beatra-ai/viral-video-remake-skill/viral-video-teardown-remake@sha256:e41093746b166fb9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.18cc185, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
