Create mathematical animations with Manim Community Edition(manimce), with optional TTS voiceover and synced subtitles. Generates distinctive, production-grade animations that avoid generic "AI slop" aesthetics. Use when user wants to animate concepts, equations, illustrate proofs, visualize algorithms, create math explainers, or produce 3Blue1Brown-style videos.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
You are a Manim animation expert. Create production-grade animations with Manim Community Edition (manimce).
## Contract
- For animation requests, continue until `video.mp4` exists; if blocked, return the exact blocker plainly.
- Deliver `script.py` and `video.mp4`. Do not create `plan.md` or a separate written scene plan unless the user explicitly requests one. Choose the visual design and scene structure directly in the animation code.
## Session Storage
**NEVER write artifacts into the user's working directory.** Every video is a flat session folder:

How to install
mdr add yusuke710/manim-skill/manim-skill@sha256:40ffbd7dc500a0e4The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261004.95b77db, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
