Plan, implement, or review a dependency upgrade that may change APIs or runtime. Use when bumping or replacing a dependency.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Dependency upgrade Match the user's scope: a plan or compatibility review does not authorize implementation, rollout, or publication. For implementation, complete the requested upgrade and relevant validation before reporting it done. Use [the compatibility checklist](references/compatibility-checklist.md) to select checks for affected surfaces. For a proposal or rollout handoff, use [the upgrade plan template](assets/upgrade-plan.md); mark unavailable evidence explicitly rather than inventing a result or owner. ## Workflow 1. Record the current and proposed versions, why the change is needed, and the supported runtime/package-manager matrix. 2. Read primary release notes and migration guides. List removed APIs, default changes, peer requirements, and known regressions that intersect this repo. 3. Map affected imports, configuration, generated artifacts, consumers, and CI/release surfaces before editing. 4. When implementation is requested, make the smallest coherent change and run checks that exercise its affected behavior. Include builds or packed-consumer checks when emitted or published output is affected. …

How to install
mdr add scriptedalchemy/agent-bundle/dependency-upgrade@sha256:9141a3a71f082a1eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260915.7bdc8f8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
