coupling-cohesion from fabiandistler/agents is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add fabiandistler/agents/coupling-cohesion@git:20261022.e7a86a8Pins git:20261022.e7a86a8 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Assesses existing code for module cohesion and LCOM, codebase-wide coupling metrics and zones, or the balance of one dependency (Khononov). Use when measuring cohesion, coupling, or dependency balance.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Coupling & Cohesion "High cohesion, low coupling" is the meta-principle most design rules reduce to. This skill **measures existing code** along both axes and picks the right lens for the question in front of you: | Mode | The question | Open | |---|---|---| | **A. Cohesion** | Do this module/class/file's parts belong together — split, merge, or leave? | [references/mode-a-cohesion.md](references/mode-a-cohesion.md) | | **B. Codebase coupling** | How coupled / brittle / over-abstracted is the codebase, by the numbers? | [references/mode-b-coupling-metrics.md](references/mode-b-coupling-metrics.md) | | **C. Balanced coupling** | Is this *one specific* dependency the right kind of coupling for its boundary? | [references/mode-c-balanced-coupling.md](references/mode-c-balanced-coupling.md) | Pick the mode from the question, then open only that mode's file: it holds the workflow, the output template, and the common mistakes. Open a second mode file only when the answer needs it — for example, a Mode B hotspot whose one suspicious dependency you then weigh with Mode C. Script paths in the mode files are relative to this skill's directory. …

How to install
mdr add fabiandistler/agents/coupling-cohesion@sha256:642cc91fc9bb808cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261022.e7a86a8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
