Gets things back out of the user's notes and knowledge base: finds resources, topics, views and every note touching something (old and forgotten ones included), digs up ideas and material, reviews a past week or month or a random slice of history, and maps their knowledge as a whole. Use for 'find my notes on X', 'what do I know/think about X', 'what relates to this', 'give me material for X', 'inspire me', 'weekly review', 'show me something I've forgotten', 'what's in my knowledge base'…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Hylo Recall Gets things back out of the user's notes. Everything here is said in the conversation; nothing is saved unless they pick that afterwards. Tools named here are Hylo's MCP tools (server `hylo`, maybe shown as `mcp__hylo__read`). How to install
mdr add skoowoo/hylo/hylo-recall@sha256:68c6753cbb4e083bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261020.62f8435, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
