Read and edit Google Docs via the Docs v1 REST API. Use when the user mentions a Google Doc, reading a document's text, creating a doc, inserting or replacing text, or exporting a doc's content.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
Drive **Google Docs** via `curl + jq`. The user's OAuth bearer token is in
`$GOOGLE_DOCS_TOKEN`; every call needs `Authorization: Bearer
$GOOGLE_DOCS_TOKEN`. Base URL: `https://docs.googleapis.com/v1/documents`. The
token carries `documents.readonly` (+ identity); writes need `documents`.
Failures are `{"error":{"code","message","status"}}` — show verbatim. `401` =
re-install. `403 PERMISSION_DENIED` on a write = read-only scope.
The doc id is the `…/document/d/<ID>/edit` segment of the URL.

How to install
mdr add acedatacloud/skills/google-docs@sha256:8a33f6b29baeb08fThe line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
