Review a complete change for unwanted scope, duplicate or leftover artifacts, churn or prose that hides the change, hollow verification, and work shifted to reviewers. Use before human review and again after review-driven fixes; not for correctness, security, design, or test-sufficiency review, and not to guess whether an AI wrote the change.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Change Cleanup Review Find material in a change that is unnecessary or misleading and that moves avoidable discovery, verification, or cleanup onto reviewers. Judge the artifacts, not who or what produced them. ## Scope Do not judge whether the implementation is correct, secure, fast, well designed, idiomatic, or tested enough, and do not propose refactors. Route those concerns to `code-review`, `security-review`, `test-gap-review`, or `docs-drift-review`. A normal bug, design objection, test gap, or style preference is not a cleanup finding. Do not call material AI-generated unless its origin is disclosed or established. Origin does not decide whether a finding is valid. Keep the review read-only. Do not edit files, push, post comments, or change the pull request without separate authorization. ## Workflow 1. Resolve the pull request or comparison and its base. Read the stated intent, the contribution rules, the changed paths, the complete diff, the checks, and the review discussion. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
