This skill should be used to audit Row-Level Security and database permissions on a Postgres backend exposed through an auto-generated API — Supabase, InsForge, or any Postgres + PostgREST setup. Trigger phrases (English) include "audit my RLS", "review my policies", "is my database exposed", "can users see each other's data", "check the anon key", "row level security", "someone could read my tables", "security definer", "is USING (true) a problem". Trigger phrases (Spanish) include…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# RLS Audit On a BaaS, the database **is** the API. The public key ships inside your JavaScript bundle, so anyone can send any query your grants and policies allow. This skill finds the gap between what you meant to expose and what the database actually permits. Analogy: RLS is the bouncer at each door of a building. This skill doesn't ask the bouncer whether they're doing a good job — it walks up to every door with a visitor badge and tries the handle. ## Why a scanner is not enough A generic scanner greps for `USING (true)` and flags it. That is wrong in both directions: a public price list is *supposed* to be `USING (true)`, while a policy that looks strict (`customer_id = auth.uid()`) can be useless if the user is the one who writes `customer_id`. The scanner has no way to know what you intended. **Intent is the missing input, and you have to declare it.** That declaration is Step 1. ## Scope Postgres reachable through PostgREST-style auto APIs: Supabase, InsForge, Neon + PostgREST. The role names below (`anon`, `authenticated`) are the common ones — confirm yours. It does not apply to MySQL, MongoDB or Firebase rules. …

How to install
mdr add martinolivero/saas-builder/rls-audit@sha256:247c18fe59d2c73dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.f2beefe, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
