# Traction Signal Analyzer ## Overview The definition of "fundable traction" changed completely with the AI era. Pre-2022, seed traction meant revenue, DAUs, and month-over-month growth rate. In 2025-2026, those still matter, but they are no longer the primary signals. The new hierarchy: **depth of engagement beats breadth of adoption**. Three users who cannot live without your product beats 300 users who think it is fine. An L-shaped retention curve beats a flat line with 50% more users. Most founders are leading with the wrong metrics.
