Managed-custody buy and sell with native on Solana and EVM chains (session-signed purchase_v2/sell_v2), exact amounts, percentage sells from the held balance, and trade-status follow-up.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# GDEX: Spot Trading
Buy and sell tokens for the chain's native token from the managed GDEX wallet. Every spot trade is session-signed (`purchase_v2` / `sell_v2` require `computedData`); the backend picks the route.
> **Paying with USDC?** To buy with USDC from any chain (GDEX bridges it in automatically) or sell straight into USDC, see **gdex-usdc-wallet**.
## When to Use
- Buying a token with native currency (SOL, ETH, etc.)
- Selling a token (absolute amount or percentage of holdings)
- Executing managed-custody spot trades with encrypted payloads
## Prerequisites
- `@gemachdao/gdex-skill` installed
- A managed session: control wallet (`walletAddress`), `sessionPrivateKey`, `apiKey` (MCP: `accountRef`). See **gdex-authentication**

How to install
mdr add gemachdao/gdex-skill/gdex-spot-trading@sha256:ad5c6ae15b82491dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.d793ca7, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
